It is highly recommended that learners review the “Public Health Nursing Clinical/Practicum Documentation” form in its entirety and make note of the work they are doing to address each competency.

Using the “Public Health Nursing Clinical/Practicum Documentation” form, write objectives for what you will accomplish in this topic and how you will evaluate your accomplishment. Refer to “Writing S.M.A.R.T. Goals” and “Using Bloom’s Taxonomy for Effective Learning,” located in the Class Resources, to be sure that your objectives are written using S.M.A.R.T. goal format and Bloom’s taxonomy.

You must align your clinical/practicum goals to Public Health Nursing Standards every 2 weeks. If your hours are completed earlier, to ensure you have met all the required competencies, you must submit the documentation addressing each competency when due.
