Healthcare leaders have a crucial role in ensuring patient safety within their organizations by formulating a safety culture that needs to be followed by providers and patients. The development of a safety culture in fall prevention and management is a complicated process that needs a competent leader to manage (Heng et al., 2022). Competent leadership is expected to ensure staff are trained on fall management and prevention, development of responsive fall prevention strategies, continuous assessment of fall incidences, and provision of a safe environment to reduce fall rates.
