The advocacy issue aims to promote equity among high school students between the age of 14 to 18 years. Most students of color and those from low-income household experience hurdles while advancing their higher-level classes (Johnson et al., 2021). A significant challenge is a discrimination, resulting in an achievement gap along the socioeconomic line. An evidence-based initiative would be to implement school-wide initiatives that aid in creating programs and school activities for a diverse student population (Salahshour, 2021). The initiative effectively enhances cultural diversity and promotes teamwork and academic accomplishment among students from minority populations. The goal is to increase the number of students of color in high school who graduate by 50% (Atwell et al., 2019).

Call to Action
Implementing the Advocacy Leadership Plan requires the collaboration of students, educators, and other stakeholders such as counselors and school administration (Thorson et al., 2019). The unexpected result would be a lack of necessary support from the school administration, which will likely jeopardize the entire plan (West et al., 2022). The initiative’s success depends on the support from the school administration since they facilitate the acquisition of resources and equipment required for the activities, time, physical location, and other resources necessary to ensure successful implementation.
The input of my consultant is vital to enhance the success of the process. Corrective feedback is needed in the implementation process, which calls for consultant expertise. Besides, the initiative involves dealing with students; hence I could get advice on how best I can approach the students to win the initiative and participate in the process without feeling discriminated. (Cardichon et al., 2020) The advice I will need includes the most appropriate communication channel, how to approach the policy maker, in this case, the school administration, and the additional input to make Advocacy Leadership Plan Necessary to enhance its effectiveness (McConnell et al., 2020).
