Develop a case study of a fictitious client who is seeking counseling for a substance abuse.
- Distinguish how a classical conditioning and instrumental conditioning approach to the client would differ in regards to the possible outcomes in the situation.
- Describe the therapeutic techniques of conditioning. How would you apply this technique in treating the client?
- Give an example of the steps you would take in applying this method.
- Discuss the settings and client characteristics that might make this method of treatment difficult or less effective.
