In design, nurses influence how the programs will look and their functions, while in the implementation, they help facilitate the program’s use. For example, nurses play a vital role in designing templates to use in the program, such as the health assessment forms and patient health information presentation format. In the program’s implementation, nurses can help educate other nurses and patients on using these standardized terminologies. Thus, nurses play vital roles in designing and implementing healthcare programs.

The healthcare team members significant to the program’s implementation are the healthcare informaticists, nurses, doctors, and healthcare technicians/engineers. Healthcare engineers are focused on the program’s functionality, including accessibility, security, and maintenance of devices and an internet connection to facilitate it. The informaticists are professionals responsible for overseeing the program, collecting, and disseminating data. They are significant to the development and improvement of the healthcare problem. Nurses and physicians must execute healthcare interventions, such as consultation, which are the reason behind the program’s development.
